Small 3-1/4 x 5-3/4 inch
white envelopes with a
sealable top flap. You
can apply labels to them, run
them through your printer,
or stamp them.
Decorate them any way
you wish!
These are ideal to make
up little bath salt sachets to
put in gift baskets.
They will hold approximately
1/4 cup of salts.
Small Heat Seal Tea Sacks
These little sacks are
a bit larger than our small
Teabags, except that
they have a small gusset on the
bottom, and hold about
one half to twice as much as
the small teabags hold.
We think these are going
to be a much better way to
make herbal bath mixes,
as they have a large flap that
irons down, and extra
room to punch a hole, or attach
a string to. They are
sold individually, or in
packages of 100.

Sachets are great in
any draw or under any pillow to keep your
clothes & bed linens
smelling fresh. I have them in every draw,
in my closet & under
each pillow in my bed.
It makes such a difference
especially in the bed.
About an hour before
I go to sleep each night,
I take the sachet from
under my pillow and break up the potpourri inside.
Then I leave it in between
my sheets. When I go to bed, I replace it under my pillow.
The sheets smell wonderful,
and the blend I use has lots of lavender for it's relaxing properties.
If you have ever made
a sachet before, you know the most difficult part of the project
is making the sachet
especially if you don't sew.
Well, I have a better
idea. Use tea bags.
You can buy the heat

House Arbor
The Arbor
If you're looking for
a leafy way to put a special part of your yard in the shade, why not construct
an arbor and drape it with a gracious canopy of vining plants? This tea-house
arbor goes together like a miniature barn, complete with roof trusses;
add a bench or two, and it becomes a mini-gazebo.

Materials:
tea cup and saucer
Styrofoam® ball
to fit tea cup opening
glue gun and glue sticks
scissors
6" square pre-cut piece
of fabric
3/4" pleated 16" Offray®
ribbon
assorted buttons, ribbon
roses, bows, small brass charms
miniature brass spoon
1 corsage pin
optional: 6" strip of
decorative ivory cording
Steps:
1. Set Styrofoam ball
gently inside tea cup. It should easily fit the opening.
2. Cover top half of
Styrofoam ball with 6" square of pre-cut fabric.
3. Smooth fabric over
ball. Gently pleat and glue fabric down,
making sure that the
Styrofoam visible above
the tea cup rim is completely
covered.
4. Trim excess fabric
with scissors.
5. Glue lower portion
of Styrofoam ball into tea cup.
6. Glue pleated Offray
ribbon around the circumference
of the Styrofoam ball,
at rim of tea cup.
7. Glue cording over
pleated ribbon covering joint
of the Styrofoam ball.
8. Arrange and glue the
assorted roses, bows, buttons,
and brass charms so they
are decoratively
clustered around the
edge of the Styrofoam ball.
9. Glue tea cup base
onto saucer, and let dry until hard.
10. Place and glue 3
ribbon roses at base around saucer.
11. Gently rest handle
of miniature brass spoon
on the roses. With spoon
in the position you desire,
glue it down on the saucer.
12. For a decorative
accent, stick a corsage pin
into the Styrofoam ball
near the rose cluster.
More Party Ideas:
-
Fill a flower pot with
seeds, note pads, candles, or chocolates shaped like garden tools.
-
Fill a tea cup with a tea
infuser, exotic tea bags, candy stirrers, and ribbon.
Advice from Beverly
Select a fabric that
works best with your special tea cup.
I like to use a moiré,
light damask or velvet.
The buttons, ribbon roses,
and
charms stand out better
on a solid fabric.
