Christmas Tea Poem
On Christmas Day, at half past three,
brew yourself a cup of tea.
I'll think of you and you'll think of me,
While sitting around your Christmas Tree.

The following from
http://dawnscraftroom.tripod.com/just4fun_gifts.htm
Friendship, Cup Of Tea Card
On the front of the card is a picture of a really fancy tea cup,
above it says:
FRIENDSHIP BEGINS WITH A CUP OF KINDNESS.
Inside it says: Please take the time to share a cup of
CHRISTMAS TEA with someone you love.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Also inside the card put two tea bags.
Friendship Tea Poem
Tea With Thee
When I need a little lift
I get together with a friend
and have a little Tea with Thee.
We have alot of fun and talk
the friendship means alot to me
It really does a heart good
to have a friend like you.
How great this world would be
if they could see you and me
and find a friend as great as you!
than they too could have someone
to have Tea with Thee...
OR
I really miss your presence,
I like to hear your views,
I wish that we could visit,
and catch up on the news,
since we can't do that often,
the one thing I can see,
is we can dream together,
and have a cup of tea.

The Friend Who Just Stands By
When trouble come your soul to try,
You love the friend who just "stands by."
Perhaps there's nothing he can do--
The thing is strictly up to you;
For there are troubles all your own,
And paths the soul must tread alone;
Times when love cannot smooth the road
Nor friendship lift the heavy load,
But just to know you have a friend
Who will "stand by" until the end,
Whose sympathy through all endures,
Whose warm handclasp is always yours--
It helps, some ways, to pull you through,
Although there's nothing he can do.
And so with fervent heart you cry,
"God bless the friend who just 'stand by.'"
...B. Y. Williams - From the book Tea For Two

Start with a dozen smiles
And a pint of pleasant days,

When you’re feeling sad & blue
And have no clue what to do
Sit down and have a cup of tea
And a hug or two or maybe three
Feel those troubles melt away
And start you on a better day.

A Cup of Tea

When the world is all at odds
And the mind is all at sea
Then cease the useless tedium
And brew a cup of tea.
There is magic in its' fragrance,
There is solace in its' taste;
And then laden moments vanish
Somehow into space.
And the world becomes a lovely thing!
There's beauty as you'll see;
All because you briefly stopped
To brew a cup of tea.
